FULL-SERVICE DECORATING + PROJECT AGREEMENT

Client: Keabreone Boyd

 Project Location: Long Beach, California

Original Project Budget: Up to $8,000

Additional Handyman Allowance: Up to $500

Target Completion Date: November 25, 2026

1. PROJECT SCOPE

Gifted Interiors will provide full-service decorating and project coordination for the Client’s residence in Long Beach, California.

The project includes the following six areas:

• Entryway

• Primary Bedroom

• Living Room + Office

• Kitchen

• Bathroom

• Outdoor Space

Services include development of the overall decorating direction, furniture and décor sourcing, incorporation of appropriate existing furnishings, project budget management, purchasing and order coordination, communication and coordination with the Client’s handyman when necessary, project planning, and final in-person decorating and styling.

Gifted Interiors will take the creative lead throughout the project while working within the Client’s established preferences, functional needs, approved budget, and overall vision discussed during the consultation.

Any additional rooms, substantial changes to the agreed project scope, or services not included above may require additional fees and written Client approval.

2. FULL-SERVICE PROJECT FEE

The professional full-service project fee is $2,000 and is included within the Client’s $8,000 maximum original project budget.

The service fee covers Gifted Interiors’ professional services throughout the project, including decorating development, sourcing, budget management, purchasing and order coordination, project planning, communication and coordination with the Client’s handyman, and final in-person decorating and styling in California.

The $2,000 service fee is due through Zelle after this Agreement is accepted and before project work begins.

The project will not officially begin until both the accepted Agreement and full $2,000 service fee have been received.

The $2,000 service fee is refundable only if the Client cancels before Gifted Interiors begins any decorating, sourcing, planning, or other project-related work. Once project work has begun, the $2,000 service fee is nonrefundable.

3. MAXIMUM PROJECT BUDGET

The Client has established $8,000 as the maximum available budget for the original project, inclusive of the $2,000 full-service project fee.

The $8,000 is a maximum available amount and is not a required spending target. Gifted Interiors will make reasonable efforts to fully execute the agreed vision while using the project budget intentionally and incorporating the Client’s existing furniture and décor where appropriate.

In addition to the $2,000 service fee, up to $6,000 may be used toward necessary project expenses, including furniture and décor, applicable sales tax, shipping and delivery, necessary project travel, assembly or installation when applicable, and other approved expenses directly related to completing the project.

Successfully completing the project for less than the $8,000 maximum does not require the remaining available budget to be spent.

Gifted Interiors will not knowingly exceed the Client’s approved budget without first receiving written authorization from the Client.

4. NECESSARY PROJECT TRAVEL

Because final in-person decorating and styling in California is included in the agreed project scope, necessary project travel is considered a required project expense and will be accounted for within the Client’s $8,000 maximum project budget.

Necessary project travel may include reasonable airfare, required baggage, necessary project-related lodging, and necessary ground transportation associated with traveling to and completing the final in-person decorating and styling.

Gifted Interiors will account for anticipated necessary travel expenses when determining the amount of the remaining project budget available for furniture, décor, shipping, delivery, and other project expenses.

Gifted Interiors will make reasonable efforts to arrange project travel responsibly while considering cost, scheduling, and the needs of the project.

Personal expenses, entertainment, additional personal lodging, personal transportation, or other expenses unrelated to the Client’s project will not be charged to the Client.

Once project-related travel arrangements have been purchased, any nonrefundable project-related travel costs will remain project expenses if the Client later cancels or postpones the project.

5. PROJECT FUNDS + PURCHASING

After the $2,000 service fee has been received, Gifted Interiors will begin project development, planning, and sourcing.

Up to $6,000 in additional project funds is available within the Client’s original $8,000 maximum project budget.

Gifted Interiors will request project funds as needed before purchases, travel reservations, or other project expenses are incurred. The Client is not required to automatically provide or spend the entire remaining $6,000.

Gifted Interiors is not required to use personal funds to finance Client purchases, travel, shipping, delivery, assembly, installation, or other project expenses.

Because the Client has requested a hands-off project experience and has authorized Gifted Interiors to take the creative lead, the Client authorizes Gifted Interiors to make individual furniture, décor, and other project purchases that are consistent with the established decorating direction and remain within the approved project budget without requiring separate approval for every individual purchase.

Gifted Interiors will maintain records of project expenditures.

Any project funds provided by the Client that remain genuinely unspent after all project expenses have been paid or accounted for will be returned to the Client at project closeout.

6. SOURCING + PRODUCT COSTS

Gifted Interiors will source furniture, décor, and other project items based on the Client’s overall vision, functional needs, existing furnishings, available measurements, project budget, product availability, and anticipated project timeline.

When determining whether a product works within the project budget, Gifted Interiors may consider its total anticipated cost, rather than only its advertised purchase price.

Total cost may include the product price, applicable sales tax, shipping or delivery, and necessary professional assembly or installation.

Gifted Interiors may choose a more cost-effective product or alternative selection when doing so allows the overall project budget to be used more effectively while remaining consistent with the agreed decorating direction, function, and overall quality of the completed space.

The Client understands that product prices, promotions, shipping costs, and availability may change throughout the sourcing and purchasing process.

7. ADDITIONAL HANDYMAN ALLOWANCE

In addition to the original $8,000 maximum project budget, the Client has authorized up to an additional $500 specifically for necessary handyman services.

This creates a current maximum authorized project expenditure of $8,500 only if some or all of the additional handyman allowance becomes necessary.

Gifted Interiors will first make reasonable efforts to account for necessary assembly and installation costs within the original $8,000 maximum through strategic sourcing.

If necessary handyman expenses cannot reasonably be accommodated within the original project budget, Gifted Interiors may use the additional handyman allowance of up to $500.

The additional $500 is an allowance and not an automatic charge or required payment. The Client will only be responsible for additional handyman expenses actually required and incurred.

If anticipated expenses would cause the project to exceed the total currently authorized maximum of $8,500, Gifted Interiors will obtain the Client’s written approval before authorizing expenses above that amount.

8. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY + SUBSTITUTIONS

Furniture and décor pricing, inventory, availability, shipping estimates, and delivery dates are controlled by third-party retailers and may change without notice.

If a selected item becomes unavailable, experiences a significant price increase, cannot reasonably be obtained within the project timeline, or otherwise becomes unsuitable for the project, Gifted Interiors may source a comparable alternative that remains consistent with the established decorating direction and approved budget.

Gifted Interiors will obtain the Client’s approval before making a substitution that would materially change the established decorating direction or require spending beyond the Client’s approved budget.

9. ORDERS, RETURNS + DAMAGED ITEMS

Products purchased for the project are subject to each retailer or manufacturer’s individual shipping, cancellation, exchange, return, restocking, and warranty policies.

Gifted Interiors cannot guarantee that an order can be modified, canceled, exchanged, or returned after it has been purchased.

Applicable return shipping, restocking fees, cancellation charges, or similar third-party expenses will be considered project expenses unless the expense resulted directly from an ordering error made by Gifted Interiors.

If an item arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect, Gifted Interiors will make reasonable efforts to communicate with the appropriate retailer, manufacturer, carrier, or other party and coordinate a resolution on the Client’s behalf.

Gifted Interiors is not responsible for retailer, manufacturer, shipping carrier, or delivery company delays, defects, lost shipments, damage, or other failures outside Gifted Interiors’ reasonable control.

10. EXISTING FURNITURE + CLIENT PROPERTY

Gifted Interiors will incorporate the Client’s existing furniture and décor where appropriate rather than replacing items unnecessarily.

The Client is responsible for identifying any existing items that must remain, may be replaced, or may not be altered.

Gifted Interiors is not responsible for pre-existing damage, defects, instability, or normal wear associated with Client-owned furniture, décor, fixtures, or other property.

11. HANDYMAN + THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Gifted Interiors may communicate and coordinate directly with the Client’s handyman regarding furniture assembly, major mounting, and other appropriate installation work as part of providing the Client with a hands-off project experience.

The handyman and any other outside service providers are independent third parties and are not employees of Gifted Interiors.

Gifted Interiors will make reasonable efforts to coordinate third-party services but is not responsible for a third party’s workmanship, scheduling, delays, cancellations, property damage, personal injury, licensing, insurance, or other acts or omissions.

12. INSTALLATION + FINAL STYLING

Gifted Interiors may personally complete basic decorating and installation tasks that are reasonably within the agreed decorating scope, including curtain rods and curtains, renter-friendly wall treatments, artwork, mirrors, décor placement, accessories, and final styling.

Gifted Interiors does not provide licensed electrical, plumbing, structural, construction, or other regulated trade services.

Furniture assembly, major mounting, or other work requiring professional assistance may be assigned to the Client’s handyman or another appropriate third-party provider.

13. WALKTHROUGH + MEASUREMENTS

The Client expects to receive access to the residence on or around October 7, 2026.

Once the Client has access to the residence, Gifted Interiors and the Client will complete a virtual walkthrough at no additional consultation fee.

The walkthrough will allow Gifted Interiors to review the actual layout, obtain or confirm necessary measurements, and gather updated photographs or video before finalizing applicable product selections.

Gifted Interiors may begin developing the overall decorating direction and preliminary sourcing before the walkthrough based on information already provided by the Client.

The Client agrees to provide reasonable access and accurate measurements, photographs, video, or other project information reasonably requested by Gifted Interiors.

Gifted Interiors is not responsible for product fit or purchasing issues caused by inaccurate measurements or information provided by the Client or another third party.

14. PROJECT TIMELINE

Gifted Interiors and the Client are working toward a target completion date of November 25, 2026.

Gifted Interiors will make reasonable efforts to complete the project by this date while allowing sufficient time to prioritize appropriate selections rather than making product decisions primarily based on the fastest available delivery.

The Client has approved weekday availability for the final in-person decorating and styling when appropriate for the project schedule.

The Client understands that completion depends in part on timely access to the residence, receipt of necessary measurements and information, timely payment of requested project funds, product availability, retailer processing, shipping and delivery, handyman availability, travel arrangements, and other circumstances outside Gifted Interiors’ reasonable control.

November 25, 2026 is therefore a target completion date rather than an unconditional guarantee when delays result from circumstances outside Gifted Interiors’ reasonable control.

Gifted Interiors will communicate material delays that are expected to affect the project timeline.

15. CLIENT-REQUESTED CHANGES

The project will be developed according to the direction established through the Client’s inquiry, consultation, inspiration images, existing furnishings, stated preferences, and subsequent project communication.

If the Client requests a substantial change in decorating direction, replacement of products already purchased, expansion of the project scope, or additional services after project work has begun, additional expenses and/or professional fees may apply.

The Client is responsible for expenses resulting from Client-requested changes, including nonrefundable purchases, return or restocking fees, replacement products, additional shipping, additional handyman services, or other related costs.

Any additional professional service fee resulting from a substantial change in scope will be disclosed to the Client before the additional professional work is performed.

16. CLIENT CANCELLATION

If the Client cancels before Gifted Interiors begins any decorating, sourcing, planning, or other project-related work, the $2,000 full-service project fee will be refunded.

Once Gifted Interiors begins project-related work, the $2,000 full-service project fee is nonrefundable.

If the Client cancels after additional project funds have been provided, Gifted Interiors will return any genuinely unspent Client project funds after accounting for purchases already made, nonrefundable orders, retailer fees, approved third-party expenses, nonrefundable project travel, and other legitimate project expenses already incurred on the Client’s behalf.

Products already purchased remain subject to the applicable retailer’s cancellation and return policies.

17. CANCELLATION BY GIFTED INTERIORS

If Gifted Interiors is unable to complete the project for reasons within Gifted Interiors’ reasonable control, the Client will receive any genuinely unspent project funds and any appropriate unearned portion of professional fees after accounting for legitimate project expenses and professional services already performed.

Products already purchased for the Client remain the Client’s property.

18. PHOTOGRAPHY + PROJECT CONTENT

The Client grants Gifted Interiors permission to photograph and/or record the project spaces before, during, and after completion for use in Gifted Interiors’ portfolio, website, social media, advertising, and other business marketing.

Gifted Interiors will not intentionally publish the Client’s exact home address, private documents, financial information, or other sensitive personal information.

The Client may identify specific personal belongings they do not want photographed or recorded before final decorating and styling begins.

19. WRITTEN COMMUNICATION + APPROVAL

Email and written text communication may be used to document project decisions, approvals, budget changes, scope changes, substitutions, and other project-related matters.

When this Agreement requires Client approval, written approval through email or text message will be considered sufficient unless otherwise stated.

20. AGREEMENT + ACCEPTANCE

By accepting this Agreement, the Client confirms that they have reviewed and understand the project scope, professional service fee, maximum project budget, purchasing authorization, necessary project travel expenses, additional handyman allowance, project timeline, cancellation terms, and other conditions described above.

The Client acknowledges that the original project budget is a maximum of $8,000 and not a required spending target.

The Client acknowledges that the $2,000 full-service project fee is included within the $8,000 maximum project budget.

The Client acknowledges that necessary project travel is included within and accounted for as part of the original $8,000 maximum project budget.

The Client acknowledges that up to $6,000 in additional project funds may be requested as needed for project expenses and that the entire amount is not automatically required to be spent.

The Client acknowledges that they have authorized up to an additional $500 for necessary handyman services if required, creating a maximum authorized project expenditure of up to $8,500 only if that additional allowance becomes necessary.

The Client authorizes Gifted Interiors to make individual purchases consistent with the established decorating direction and approved budget without requesting approval for every individual purchase.

Gifted Interiors will not knowingly exceed the Client’s authorized maximum without the Client’s written approval.

Any genuinely unspent Client project funds will be returned to the Client at project closeout.

By submitting the Agreement Acceptance Form below, the Client confirms that they have read, understand, and agree to the terms of this Full-Service Decorating + Project Agreement.
